MacOS Monterey Compatibility: Which Macs can run Apple’s new software update

Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air 2020 will work with MacOS Monterey.

The latest version of Apple’s Mac operating system, MacOS Monterey (aka MacOS 12) is now available for download as a public beta (here How to Download the MacOS Monterey Public Beta). First presented at Apple Worldwide developer conference At the beginning of June, MacOS Monterey will include new features such as Universal control, Air game and a lot of the same updates are coming too iOS 15, to like spatial audio in FaceTime.

  • MacBook, Early 2016 and later
  • MacBook Air, Early 2015 and later
  • Macbook Pro, Early 2015 and later
  • Mac Pro, Late 2013 and later
  • Mac Mini, Late 2014 and later
  • iMac, Late 2015 and later
  • iMac Pro, 2017 and later

  • iMac, Mid and late 2014 and early 2015
